Forrest Wines

Forrest Wines produce some of New Zealand’s most characterful, high quality wines. They look after around 130 hectares of prime vineyard sites across the Marlborough region, further north in Hawkes Bay’s Gimblett Gravels sector and also way down south in highly fashionable Central Otago. Dr John Forrest’s love of innovation and experimentation were tested in his attempts to produce a lower alcohol, full-flavoured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Careful selection of grape clones, vineyard sites and microclimate; plus a couple of little viticultural secrets have resulted in the innovative ‘Doctors’’ range. This currently comprises a Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. Beyond The Doctors’ range, the John Forrest Collection offers boutique, limited production releases from some of New Zealand’s most famed terroir. These are showstopping wines in every sense.
