Golden Amrita
Golden Amrita is a family owned company owned by the Liu family that for many generations has produced the finest quality aged Pu’er vintage teas in Yunnan province in Southern China.
Amrita is an ancient Indian word meaning “Nectar of the Gods”, a drink that bestowed immortality. In 2017 the family purchased a small estate vineyard situated in the highly acclaimed Greenock sub-region of the Barossa Valley.
The single estate vineyard is planted solely with Shiraz and expertly managed for Golden Amrita by a sixth generation family of Barossa vignerons, the Kalleske family. Winemaking is overseen by renowned Kym Milne MW working closely with winemaker Shawn Kalleske.
This collaboration has already produced it’s first Gold medal at the Mundus Vini International Wine Competition in Germany.
