Wyebrook Estate is a small vineyard on the edge of town in Blenheim, in the renowned wine region of Marlborough, New Zealand, growing the world-famous Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. In the same way fantastic food comes from simple, fresh ingredients, Wyebrook’s philosophy is to grow fresh beautiful wine, with minimal interference with nature – both in the vineyard and the winery.
The name Wyebrook came about because of the shape of the vineyard block. From the air, you can see a definite Y shape, formed from where two streams converge. So the Y-shape and the idea of a ‘babbling brook’ inspired the name Wyebrook Estate.
Wyebrook Estate is a small vineyard owned and managed by long-time Marlburians and winegrowers, Steve and Steph Fisher who also run a vineyard management service and a winery maintenance supply centre.
