Description
With a vine age of over 30 years, Lemberg’s mother-block of Hárslevelü is a Hungarian white variety more commonly recognised as a component in the great wines of Tokaji. Hárslevelü has become synonymous with Lemberg Wine Estate – Alternative methods in the making of this wine, including natural fermentation, carbonic maceration and orange winemaking, allowed for an ultra-premium blend of components. The 2020 vintage displays dried peach, nectarine with subtle notes of orange peel and hints of bay leaf. The palate offers delicate fruit flavours, quince like texture with pithy length.
Ageing potential: Bracing freshness in youth, although still generous in structure to develop depth and dimension for up to eight years of optimal cellaring.
Alcohol: 14.7% ABV
