Bird in Hand Nest Egg Shiraz is a limited release Shiraz, only made in outstanding vintages and with each bottle individually numbered. Rated one of Australia’s top wines by critic James Haliday, the Nest Egg range of wines represents the very best of Bird in Hand, with elite barrels selected based on intensity of flavour, concentration and finesse. Made in limited quantities, the 2014 Nest Egg Shiraz is comprised of only 13 barrels. The 2014 vintage is powerful yet distinctly cool climate, with brambly black fruit, cracked pepper, nuanced floral violets and black olive. Quite tight and structured in it’s youth, with rich and brooding Shiraz fruit flavours. This vintage will develop and evolve beautifully over time.
