Noble Late Harvest 2014, Stanley Estates

There is so much to say here I barely know where to start! Honeyed, rich and aromatic, there is a sweet lemon-sherbert note in the glass together with a telltale note of botrytis concentration, with pineapple and mandarin hints. On the palate, Sauvignon Blanc’s firm zing helps to offset the wine’s richness, resulting in a wine with a very high-toned character. Supremely balanced, this is certainly one of, if not the very finest dessert styles in the Frontier list. A dream come true.
