Darling Cellars Old Bush Vine Cinsault comes from specific unirrigated old bush vines which are selected for their uniqueness and prominent terroir flavours. An irresistible, well balanced wine, with sour cherries, strawberries and a hint of oak on the nose. Flavours of red pepper, spice, raspberries and a hint of sweet vanilla are followed on by a lovely fresh acidity on the palate and a long lingering finish. A great partner with with roasted leg of lamb, Moroccan lamb, Mediterranean casseroles and a traditional South African “Potjiekos” (especially with venison). We love it!
Ageing potential: 8 – 15 years under ideal cellar conditions
