Christmas 2025 dispatch schedule
Orders placed for items listed as in stock (not ‘back order’ items) before 23:59 Sunday 21st December 2025 will be dispatched via APC couriers on Monday 22nd December. All deliveries within mainland UK are booked on a next day service, but due to extreme demand on the courier service at this time there may be some delays to deliveries. We can not guarantee the courier delivery time scales.
Last date to order back-order items before Christmas is Monday 15th December 2025
2025/2026 Christmas & New Year hours
Sunday 21st December 2025 – Last day for online orders
Monday 22nd December – Last day of dispatch via APC courier
Tuesday 23rd December – Open for enquiries
Wednesday 24th December – Closing at 12noon
25th December to 1st January 2026 – CLOSED
2nd January 2026 – Open for enquires
5th January – Normal dispatching resumes
Delivery is free for all orders over £150.00 per delivery address within mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands)* regardless of how many cases you order. Delivery for orders less than £150.00 is £9.95. Please refer to the delivery advice given with each wine for details of availability.
If any cases within your order are not available for immediate delivery, we will hold your order until all cases are ready for dispatch and send to you in one consignment. Should you wish to split your order to receive some cases earlier, you will incur extra delivery charges. If you are not at home when we attempt to deliver your wine, the driver will leave a card for you to arrange a more convenient delivery time.
Our carrier, APC deliver Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.00pm. Most of our customers give us instructions to leave the wine in a safe place as this is by far the easiest way to ensure you get your wine on time. It should be noted that wines left in this manner are at the customer’s own risk.
Some single or 2 bottle orders may be dispatched via Royal Mail.
Please note that the sustainability of our packaging is something we take seriously. Where possible we try to reuse strong boxes and clean packaging to despatch our orders. It may not look as ‘beautiful’ but it is our small contribution to the reduction of reusable waste. If your order is for a gift, please let us know your preference and we will of course use new boxes if required.
* Delivery to Scottish Highlands and outside mainland UK (Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man) will be subject to an extra charge. Please contact the office for further information.
Available as back-order – We hold stock in multiple warehouses. Available as back-order could mean delivery within 3 working days or up to 2 weeks. Contact us to confirm stock location & delivery times if required quicker than 2 weeks.
