Waipara Springs

Waipara Springs is located in the heart of the Waipara Valley, in New Zealand’s South Island. Planted in the early 1980s, the vineyard contains some of the earliest vine plantings in the valley, which in turn provide the wines with a depth and intensity that only old vines can produce. The vineyard of 26 hectares is planted with Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and Merlot with the wines crafted in two differing styles; the fresh fruit-driven wines under the Waipara Springs label and the structurally-driven wines released under the Estate’s Premo label.
