Description
The Cavalli Warlord 2020 grapes were hand-picked and sorted in the early morning at Cavalli. The Cabernet Sauvignon was fermented in stainless steel with 3-4 pumpovers daily. The Malbec and Petit Verdot were fermented in small open-top vessels with manual punchdowns 3-5 times daily. Batches were allowed up to 2 weeks of skin contact post-fermentation. After pressing, the wine completed malolactic fermentation in tank.
Notes of fresh plum, blackforest cake and cedar spice. The wine shows a delicate mid-palate with a soft, rounded tannin that complements a well-balanced acidity.
