Cathy Marshall is one of the original garagiste winemakers in South Africa; she graduated from Elsenburg College in 1991. Cathy initially set up the Barefoot Wine Company and has since carved out a distinguished reputation as one of South Africa’s most skilled and innovative producers under her own, Catherine Marshall Wines label. Feminine and gentle, there is a beauty and calm assurance about her wines. Pinot is Cathy’s real love and her understanding and rapport with the variety is right there in the glass. A terrific grower with a truly deft touch.
