Director’s Reserve White 2020, Tokara

Tokara Directors Reserve White 2020 is a consistent award winning blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, made from grapes grown on the highest slopes of Tokara’s Stellenbosch property.  An intense straw colour with flecks of green. Notes of ripe quince, passionfruit and baked apples combine with hints of lemongrass, toasted almonds and brioche to offer a bouquet of aromatic complexity. The palate is rich and full and echoes the notes found in the multifaceted aroma, finishing with length and amazing clarity.

Ageing potential: This wine drinks exceptionally well now but will continue to develop and improve till 2028.

Food pairing: Best served with creamy seafood dishes or grilled white fish.
