Kaapzicht

For three generations the Steytler family has been running their 190 hectare Kaapzicht estate in Stellenbosch’s Bottelary Hills; brothers Danie and George being the winemaker and viticulturalist respectively and their wives being in charge of marketing and finances. Particularly renowned for their exemplary Pinotage cuvées, the estate can also claim ownership of South Africa’s second oldest Chenin Blanc vineyard, planted as far back as 1947. This beautiful estate celebrated its 60th anniversary as a family farm in 2006.
