The Stellenbosch Reserve

A label created by Jean Engelbrecht of Rust en Vrede fame, Stellenbosch Reserve is a range of wines that not only embodies all that is Stellenbosch, but also pays homage to this internationally important town. From the first vintage in 2006, the wine then known as Stellenbosch Ridge would comprise a blend of different varietals for every vintage. However the decision was made with the 2009 vintage that going forward it would only be produced as a Bordeaux blend. With the 2013 vintage a white wine was added to the line up and it officially became known as The Stellenbosch Reserve. Joining the Bordeaux red blend can now be found a Chardonnay, Merlot and most recently a Cabernet Sauvignon, which completes this outstanding range of wines.
